VANCOUVER -- Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who is in British Columbia cutting scenes for Breaking Dawn, is in love. Puppy love, that is.
The actor told MTV in a recent interview that he has adopted a dog from a shelter, named Yogi Bear.
We're guessing the name wasn't manly enough for this blood-sucking vampire, who's decided to change its name.
"It's called Bear," Pattinson said in the interview. "He was called Yogi Bear in the shelter and I thought Yogi Bear was a bit much."
He was also recently quoted in Details magazine as saying: “The only emotional connection of relevance is with my dog. My relationship with my dog, it’s ridiculous."
No sightings of Bear here in Vancouver, although the pooch would certainly be welcome in this dog-crazy town.
